Faculty - Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and assess curriculum for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students
• Advise and mentor students throughout their academic journey
• Provide leadership in university and professional service
• Engage in community outreach efforts and contribute to scholarly activities
• Serve as a lab instructor or teach specific course modules
• Assist in Clinical Education as part of the administrative workload release time

Requirements

• Expertise in the management of outpatient neurological care and vestibular conditions
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience
• Physical Therapy licensure in Arizona or eligibility to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment
• Experience in effective and innovative teaching within academia or clinical settings (e.g., Clinical Instructor)
• Willingness to travel for university-related purposes as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or D.Sc.)
• Board certification (NCS or PCS) in Neurological Physical Therapy
• Experience managing pediatric neurological conditions
