Faculty, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach core accounting concentration courses within the McGraw School of Business
• Provide university service, including student advising, mentoring, and supervising professional certification activities
• Support student organizations such as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)
• Contribute to program quality improvements, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Engage in scholarly research, accounting education initiatives, consulting, or grant writing
• Integrate Christian faith with accounting practice in the classroom and through mission projects

Requirements

• Master's degree in business, accounting, or finance
• CPA licensure and/or an earned PhD in accounting or a business-related field
• Alignment with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant
• Ability to articulate the integration of Christian faith and accounting practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional practice or industry experience in the accounting field
• Experience with QuickBooks certification initiatives
