Facultative Reinsurance Associate Broker

Responsibilities

• Provide client account support by facilitating information flow between agents, underwriters, and internal teams
• Respond promptly to requests from (re)insurers and clients regarding account servicing issues
• Assist with quotations and binders for new business, renewals, and endorsements
• Analyze certificates, endorsements, and audit requests to ensure accuracy in dates, coverage, and premiums
• Manage documentation including the initiation of cancellation and non-renewal notices
• Coordinate with client services teams to ensure accurate invoicing
• Support team advancement by championing digital efficiencies and workflow enhancements

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of general insurance experience or experience in a technical support role within an insurance-related business
• Proven ability to understand and analyze insurance certificates and components
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a changing environment
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of (re)insurance industry processes
• 2-year or 4-year degree or equivalent professional work experience
