About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform minor technical tasks in electricity (bulb replacement, troubleshooting switches/outlets), plumbing (fixing leaks, changing faucets), and locksmithing (changing locks, repairing door closers)
- Conduct regular technical inspections of premises to monitor lighting, temperature, and detect anomalies
- Report malfunctions immediately to management
- Execute minor second-work repairs including plastering, painting, and sealing
- Install light furniture, mirrors, and fixtures as requested
Requirements
- CAP/BEP in building trades (Electricity, Plumbing, Building Maintenance) or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a factotum or multi-skilled maintenance agent
- Proficiency in basic electricity, plumbing, and locksmithing
- Ability to diagnose simple faults and prioritize urgent interventions
- Excellent presentation, discretion, and customer service orientation
