About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Develop and manage advanced data control systems for real-time monitoring
- Provide guidance to engineers on testing best practices and system capabilities
- Identify and mitigate hazards to ensure a safe testing environment
- Create and refine test plans and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware reliability issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience
- Experience with pressurized flight components
- Experience operating hazardous equipment with multiple energy sources
- Experience building complex fluid-mechanical systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Slack
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Trade Certifications (e.g., Aviation/Automotive Mechanic)
- Experience with test automation and data acquisition systems
- Knowledge of rocket engine components including pumps, valves, and regulators
