Factory Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to exact specifications
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with high precision
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments
• Record cut data and job completions accurately in digital software systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• Experience in a factory, metals service center, or skilled trades
• Knowledge of bandsaws, industrial saws, or CNC equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift
• Comfortable using digital software systems for tracking data
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and wearing required PPE
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metals, aluminum, or aerospace/defense supply chains
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
• Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Comfort using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency
