Factory Supply Chain Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using data and planning systems to improve accuracy
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand market trends, risks, and future demand changes
• Manage procurement for stocked and made-to-order products by placing supplier orders
• Proactively resolve supplier and scheduling issues to support customer needs
• Monitor inventory levels to address shortages or excess stock
• Coordinate material flow across engineering, sales, finance, and warehouse teams
• Track and report on supplier performance, including on-time delivery and service levels
• Participate in continuous process improvements and system implementations

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
• 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or procurement
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Solid knowledge of inventory management, material flow, and supplier coordination
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Proficiency in Microsoft BI or similar database tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships in a cross-functional environment
