About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using data and planning systems to improve accuracy
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand market trends, risks, and future demand changes
- Manage procurement for stocked and made-to-order products by placing supplier orders
- Proactively resolve supplier and scheduling issues to support customer needs
- Monitor inventory levels to address shortages or excess stock
- Coordinate material flow across engineering, sales, finance, and warehouse teams
- Track and report on supplier performance, including on-time delivery and service levels
- Participate in continuous process improvements and system implementations
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or procurement
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Solid knowledge of inventory management, material flow, and supplier coordination
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Proficiency in Microsoft BI or similar database tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships in a cross-functional environment
