Factory Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial bandsaws to cut aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to customer specifications
• Read and execute cut lists accurately for every order
• Measure and verify finished pieces against job requirements
• Load and unload material using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Inspect cuts for quality and flag any non-conforming material
• Package, label, and stage finished orders for shipment
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area
• Log job completions in the company software system

Requirements

• Proven experience operating industrial bandsaws or similar cutting equipment
• Proficiency with tape measures and the ability to work to tight tolerances
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physical capability to work on your feet for a full shift
• Reliability and a strong sense of ownership over your work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience cutting aluminum or other non-ferrous metals
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
• Familiarity with aerospace or defense supply chain quality standards
