Factory Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lubrication factory in St. Louis to achieve world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost competitiveness.
• Drive large-scale operational transformation and factory transformation programs to enhance efficiency and long-term sustainability.
• Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations including machining, assembly, production, maintenance, and shipping within a unionized environment.
• Implement the SKF Production System and deploy Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste and improve operational flow.
• Create and achieve factory activity plans to meet KPIs and strategic business goals.
• Foster a positive culture of engagement, continuous improvement, and employee development.
• Manage capacity and the launch of new products, equipment, and capabilities while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing labor/management relationships within a unionized setting.
• Demonstrated success leading operational transformation initiatives and large-scale change programs.
• Strong financial and business acumen with an understanding of operational and commercial drivers.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively within a cross-cultural, cross-functional, and matrixed organization.
