Facility Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect aboveground and underground tanks, including condition, levels, and labeling
• Perform inspections of fire suppression, fire safety equipment, and waste storage areas
• Identify and document physical security issues and facility deficiencies
• Execute facility maintenance tasks such as snow clearing, grass cutting, and yard upkeep
• Conduct routine checks of compressor plants, including monitoring oil levels and equipment inspections
• Provide contractor oversight and support to Trades Technicians as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude through work experience (e.g., farm work, maintenance, or equipment operation)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Class 1 driver’s license
• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry
• Ability to accurately complete technical documentation
