About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance including plumbing, lighting, and basic electrical work
- Maintain buildings, grounds, and common work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs
- Support preventive maintenance and facility setup across departments
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and materials
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and report hazards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong understanding of safety hazards and cleaning solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and logs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift and/or crane certification
- Related facility maintenance experience
