Facility Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance including plumbing, lighting, and basic electrical work
• Maintain buildings, grounds, and common work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs
• Support preventive maintenance and facility setup across departments
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and materials
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and report hazards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Strong understanding of safety hazards and cleaning solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and logs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift and/or crane certification
• Related facility maintenance experience
