Facility Technician III

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring, maintenance, and repair of facility systems including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and air compressors
• Maintain proficiency with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and recommend upgrades or setpoint changes
• Provide coaching, training, and direction to other technicians
• Manage vendor relations, including job walks, LOTO confirmation, and scope of work reviews
• Order parts, tools, and materials for routine projects and facilitate inventory management
• Maintain Clean and Dry Room ratings and ensure work is completed safely
• Monitor equipment regularly to ensure normal operating factory conditions
• Maintain worksite cleanliness in accordance with 5S/3R standards and lean manufacturing practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of maintenance experience in industrial facility and process systems
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills in facility and process systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS
• Ability to analyze building needs via design evaluations, trending data, and schematic reading

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational Certificate
• Associate's degree
