Facility Technician

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-3 gyms, ensuring building systems and fitness equipment operate at peak efficiency
• Manage and close tickets in OpenWrench to maintain accurate maintenance records
• Maintain clean, organized inventory for tools, parts, and materials
• Oversee janitorial and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Plan and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates and deliveries
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems, fitness equipment, and club assets
• Oversee onsite vendors and local service providers
• Implement maintenance and safety programs and maintain OSHA compliance
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs for plumbing, lighting, HVAC, AV systems, flooring, and pool mechanics

Requirements

• 3–5 years of building maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, general repairs)
• 3+ years of mechanical work experience, preferably with fitness equipment
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to multiple locations
• Ability to maintain personal vehicle insurance and a clean motor vehicle record
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
