About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide general facility management services, including continuous monitoring of the office and facility.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns to ensure timely resolution and high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for equipment service, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Create, assign, and monitor work orders for engineering staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Request, review, and submit vendor bids and proposals, and verify final invoice pricing.
  • Monitor and assess vendor performance and provide training on billing procedures.
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients, landlords, and vendors regarding project status and issue resolution.
  • Assist with site inspections and the measurement of key performance indicators against service level agreements.
  • Manage complex work orders, including environmental issues and disaster recovery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative, accounting, or tenant services capacity.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of lease terms, building systems, and management agreements.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential on-call hours, weekends, or overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in property management, commercial real estate, or professional services.
