Facility Security Support

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Security Manager with daily operations of the MSEIT Open Storage Area (OSA)
• Manage OSA physical security processes, procedures, and lab access
• Conduct lab briefings, training, and maintain visitor control, including badge issuance and escorting uncleared visitors
• Maintain DCSA required logs, checklists, and other security documentation
• Perform badge tracking, SEAD 3 reporting, and roster management
• Coordinate EOD with the lab manager and verify VARS in Visitor Control
• Professionally interact with senior leadership, government customers, and vendors
• Create and edit documents using Microsoft Office Suite, including graphics and proofreading
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling conference rooms and assembling meeting materials

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• 2+ years of experience working in or with restricted areas
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate within a team
• High level of accuracy in proofreading for grammar and punctuation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with SharePoint
• Experience working with DoD, Intelligence, Space Force, or Air Force customers
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
