Facility Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DCSA security requirements, including NISPOM and SEAD 3/4
• Manage personnel security processes via DISS and NBIS
• Conduct self-inspections and internal audits
• Prepare for and participate in DCSA security audits and inspections
• Oversee secure handling, transmission, and storage of classified information
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs
• Maintain security records and documentation
• Support the Insider Threat Program
• Act as a liaison with government representatives and internal departments

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an FSO
• Demonstrated understanding of DCSA compliance, NISP, and SEAD 3/4
• Facility Security Officer certification
• Working knowledge of DISS and NBIS
• Knowledge of SAPF compliance, construction, and accreditation
• Active Top-Secret Clearance
• Strong understanding of foreign travel reporting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in SIMS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
