About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day facility operations in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory expectations.
- Oversee operational support activities including maintenance coordination, facility readiness, work planning, and logistics.
- Coordinate facility upgrades, equipment installations, infrastructure improvements, and contractor oversight.
- Support radiological operations and ensure compliance with site radiological controls and contamination control practices.
- Oversee material receipt, storage, inventory accountability, and logistics coordination.
- Promote operational discipline, procedural compliance, industrial safety, and a strong nuclear safety culture.
- Maintain operational records, facility documentation, and work tracking systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry, Health Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting industrial facility operations, nuclear operations, or radiological facilities.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary operational activities in regulated or industrial environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of operational safety practices, facility maintenance, and procedural compliance.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting radioisotope production facilities, nuclear laboratories, or research facilities.
- Experience with facility startup, commissioning, or operational readiness programs.
- Experience overseeing facility upgrades or infrastructure improvement projects.
- Experience with industrial safety programs, radiological controls, or quality assurance programs.
- Project management or operations leadership experience.
