Facility Operations Assistant

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress toward KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements
• Conduct facility safety inspections and help enforce safety protocols
• Support audits, training programs, and ensure adherence to OSHA and company EHS guidelines
• Monitor equipment performance and escalate maintenance issues
• Ensure proper upkeep of workstations, tools, and infrastructure
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR teams to resolve operational challenges
• Assist with budget tracking, inventory audits, and procurement planning
• Support lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and project rollouts

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility operations, manufacturing support, or a related field
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, EHS protocols)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of equipment monitoring and facility maintenance procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
