About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across the facility
- Drive production output and achieve revenue targets
- Manage P&L for machining and inspection activities
- Lead, coach and develop a skilled team
- Ensure compliance with quality and industry standards
- Optimise equipment utilisation and operational efficiency
- Manage inventory, materials and workflow (WIP)
- Strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers
- Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Deliver training and uplift capability within the team
Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory or management role
- Trade background in machining or similar technical field
- Exposure to oil & gas or drilling environments
- Strong understanding of CNC machining and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with lean principles (e.g. 5S, continuous improvement)
