Facility Manager

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure work at FAB1 including electrical, IT, HVAC, and structural upgrades
• Coordinate the physical transition and move from the Andover site (FAB0) to the Billerica site (FAB1)
• Manage day-to-day facilities operations including security, janitorial, and general upkeep
• Monitor building systems such as HVAC, electrical, compressed air, and fire safety
• Build and manage systems for preventive maintenance and vendor performance tracking
• Serve as the primary point of contact for service vendors and property management
• Partner with EHS to maintain safety compliance and OSHA regulations
• Support budgeting and financial planning for facilities operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in facilities, manufacturing, or workplace operations
• Experience overseeing vendors and leading facilities-related projects
• Familiarity with building systems including HVAC, electrical, and compressed air
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and project management software
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally move up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a startup, cleantech, or mission-driven organization
• Experience with factory buildouts or large-format warehouse facilities
• Familiarity with OSHA, building/fire codes, and local municipal permitting
• Experience scaling or transitioning workplace functions
