Facility Manager

Responsibilities

• Control of construction projects and maintenance measures for commercial real estate (tendering, awarding, implementation)
• Service provider management in facility management and construction (selection, control, quality and cost control)
• Technical control and monitoring of commercial real estate in compliance with legal requirements and operator obligations
• Budget planning and KPI management for facility services and construction projects in the retail environment
• Act as a contact person for internal stakeholders, landlords, and external partners on all technical and structural issues
• Further development of facility management and sustainability strategies, including process optimization, digitalization, and efficiency increases

Requirements

• Completed technical degree or training in facility management, civil engineering, building technology, or similar
• Several years of experience in technical facility management / building operations, ideally in a retail or commercial real estate environment
• Experience in KPI management, data analysis, and reporting, with proficiency in Excel and common tools
• Interest in technical developments and trends in building management and process optimization
• Structured, analytical way of working with a good sense for costs, efficiency, and sustainable solutions
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented personality capable of taking responsibility
• Very good German and English skills
