About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct facility operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable waste management services
  • Lead and develop a productive workforce through hiring, training, and performance evaluation
  • Implement and promote safety programs to ensure safe working conditions and reduce accidents
  • Manage resource allocation, including personnel routing and equipment maintenance programs
  • Monitor financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements and implementing cost control programs
  • Drive business growth by identifying market trends and seeking opportunities for contracts and acquisitions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
  • Demonstrated track record in an operational environment requiring analytical and general management skills
  • 5+ years of experience in the waste industry preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instruction manuals, and routine reports
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds
