About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day production maintenance operations and the maintenance of client buildings, facilities, and equipment.
  • Manage the maintenance workforce, including technical and non-technical employees, ensuring appropriate training and succession planning.
  • Direct the work of others across various disciplines including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, and PLC systems.
  • Manage budgets, P&L, and costs while coordinating with external vendors for out-of-scope maintenance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and present performance metrics to clients and management.
  • Maintain accountability for company assets and ensure the organization of the maintenance shop and spare parts inventory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, facilities management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5 years of progressively responsible facilities or production maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain necessary facility credentials and authorizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access.
  • Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Proven experience in data mining and creating metrics to drive performance results.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of leadership experience in production maintenance (Electrical, Controls, Automation, Robotics, or Mechanical).
  • Experience managing a multi-skilled workforce to deliver positive results.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs and complex industrial electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S.
  • Experience with new business start-ups.
