Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of buildings, infrastructure, utility systems, and facility equipment to assess condition and performance
  • Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs and facility sustainment strategies
  • Identify and document facility project requirements for repairs, renovations, and new construction
  • Manage project requirements within DMLSS-FM and other facility management systems
  • Assist with development of Five-Year Maintenance Action Plans (MAPs) and Long-Range Plans (LRPs)
  • Develop Statements of Objectives (SOO), Scope Intent Documents, and cost estimates
  • Serve as a liaison between BUMED, NAVFAC, USMC, DHA, GSA, and USACE
  • Collect and analyze utility consumption and facility performance data
  • Escort contractors and vendors performing work within BUMED facilities
  • Prepare facility condition reports, maintenance analyses, and project status reports

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing facility maintenance in hospital, military, or special purpose settings
  • Experience planning maintenance activities and developing preventive maintenance programs
  • Working knowledge of DMLSS-FM, MAXIMO, PAX, and GFEBS
  • Experience with government documentation including DD Form 1392 and DD Form 1354
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport for travel
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including walking construction sites, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with CMMS systems such as DMLSS-FM, Maximo, eProjects, or GFEBS
