Facility Management Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for heritage buildings, utilities, and infrastructure
• Ensure all maintenance activities respect heritage preservation standards and historical integrity
• Oversee electrical and technical systems, including distribution boards, cabling, and power supply
• Manage security and monitoring systems, including CCTV and site access infrastructure
• Supervise cleaning, waste management, and landscaping teams to maintain high site presentation standards
• Coordinate with contractors, conservation specialists, and service providers for repairs and upgrades
• Liaise with government authorities such as Municipality, Civil Defense, and EtihadWE to secure permits and ensure compliance
• Support cultural events and public programming by ensuring site infrastructure and utilities are operational

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field)
• 3-5 years of experience in facility management, infrastructure operations, or site engineering
• Proven experience in managing heritage sites, large campuses, or public facilities
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and facility maintenance
• Demonstrated experience in contractor and vendor management
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
