Facility Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks for production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems and diagnose work on AC and DC motors and controls
• Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including replacing electrical components and motors
• Inspect, test, and operate machinery prior to releasing it to manufacturing
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to complete tasks
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and reporting processes

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Basic machining and welding skills
• Ability to use professional email and Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience navigating via PLC operation sequences, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback
