Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform machine, building, and grounds maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
• Prepare and submit estimates for building repairs, machine improvements, or installations
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for major service requirements
• Conduct periodic inspections of firefighting equipment, cranes, slings, and material handling equipment
• Maintain accurate service facility drawings, sketches, and maintenance records
• Plan and arrange daily work using work orders and blueprints to minimize production interference
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 5 years of working experience within a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience with machine tool knowledge or machine shop operations
• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs
• Strong understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and continuous improvement philosophy
