Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
• Complete minor construction and repair projects across the facility
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components such as lighting, outlets, switches, and motors
• Monitor waste management and coordinate vendor services
• Serve as point of contact for fire, security, and access control systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sprinkler, wash bay, and gate operations
• Operate forklifts, manlifts, sweepers, and grounds equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional travel
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and fit-for-duty assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial or facility maintenance
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, or sprinkler systems
• Equipment operation experience with forklifts and manlifts
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite
