Facility Maintenance Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and direction to maintenance staff in a 24/7 operation
• Lead and assist in the procurement, installation, and modification of new equipment and control systems
• Manage all aspects of large-scale capital projects, including coordination with engineers
• Support critical systems such as distilled water, process air, HVAC, fluid, and electrical systems
• Supervise plant construction and capital improvement projects while ensuring compliance with SOPs and EHS regulations
• Develop and maintain spare parts inventory and support 6S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Train personnel to develop a well-balanced and effective work team

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or Technology, or 10 years of equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities or critical systems maintenance with leadership responsibilities
• Proven ability to supervise complex maintenance and repair tasks, including machine overhauls
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 100 pounds and working in various environmental conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, clean rooms, boiler control room operations, and WFI generation
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting automation controls, PLCs, and HMIs
• Experience with power distribution systems and energy reduction initiatives
• Strong project management skills and experience using Microsoft Project software
