Facility & Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the development center and office facilities in the Delhi NCR region.
• Manage engineering utilities including power distribution, water treatment, compressed air, and steam systems.
• Maintain electroplating lines, including anodizing, plating baths, and wastewater treatment processes.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards through audits and risk assessments.
• Lead and manage a team of technicians and contractors, including performance reviews and resource allocation.
• Optimize energy usage and utility costs while maintaining high uptime for chemical processing equipment.
• Monitor budgets, track KPIs such as equipment reliability, and generate reports for senior leadership.
• Respond to facility emergencies, including chemical spills and utility outages, following a zero-incident safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 13–15 years of experience in facility and maintenance operations.
• Proven experience in chemical, specialty chemicals, or electroplating manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
• Strong technical knowledge of PLC, BMS, HVAC, and electrical safety equipment (LT Panel, VCB, etc.).
• Deep understanding of water treatment systems including WWTP, STP, RO, and DI plants.
• Experience managing site operations with teams of indirect or contractual staff.
• Knowledge of chemical compatibility and specialized piping materials (PPR, PVDF, SS, etc.).
