Facility Engineer, HVAC

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities to extend equipment life and conserve energy
• Adhere to all safety standards, local, city, and state laws
• Review and inspect life safety systems for proper operation
• Respond to emergency calls as needed
• Manage purchases, inventory, and department paperwork
• Implement and maintain routine energy conservation measures
• Perform tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and snow removal
• Coordinate with outside contractors to complete work orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems
• Knowledge of electrical switches and relays
• Ability to operate and maintain a truck
• Valid, current, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to ski or snowboard at an advanced level
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Building Automated Systems
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years of experience in Facility Management, construction, or a similar field
