Facility Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical system engineering activities including 161kV GIS, medium voltage power systems, and emergency generator systems.
• Establish engineering goals and objectives in conjunction with facility group leaders.
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance (PM) activities to ensure high performance.
• Provide project leadership for facility processes, including feasibility studies, planning, and documentation.
• Design, modify, and recommend equipment types to optimize operation control.
• Define maintenance and operations strategies for transformers, HV/LV systems, VCB, ACB, and power distribution.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance electrical field knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• College degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in electrical system operation, repairing, or equipment installation.
• Proven maintenance skills specifically with 161KV GIS and transformers.
• Experience in a CDT plant or equivalent technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with equipment development, design, selection, and debugging.
• Strong troubleshooting and parts management skills.
• Experience with vendor management and project management.
• Knowledge of electrical-related codes and safety implementation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
