Facility Custodian

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms, offices, breakrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and lobbies
• Ensure all areas are consistently clean, organized, and stocked with required supplies
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors according to facility standards
• Restock paper products, soap, and other consumable supplies
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs
• Identify and report facility issues, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to the Facility Engineer Manager
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing routine cleaning in a commercial or institutional facility
• Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
• Experience using standard custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
• Professional communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work the second shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by EAR/ITAR regulations
