Facility and Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance supervisors and ensure safety rules, such as LOTO procedures, are strictly applied
• Oversee team training plans, including technical skills and methodologies like Line QRQC, 5 WHYs, and PDCA/FTA
• Drive TPM deployment and manage global equipment reliability action plans
• Optimize maintenance costs for both corrective and preventive activities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen actions and VPS workshops (TPM, 5S)
• Propose and manage the maintenance budget and long-term maintenance strategy
• Support new equipment launches and participate in Lean Process Design
• Collaborate with the purchasing department on maintenance contract negotiations and equipment specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial, process, or maintenance environment
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
• Proven experience in planning and maintaining facility budgets
• Experience in contract negotiation
