Facility and Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for heritage buildings, utilities, and infrastructure
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, and technical systems to ensure safety and full functionality
• Manage contractors, conservation specialists, and service providers, ensuring adherence to quality and budget
• Supervise cleaning, waste management, landscaping, and site presentation to maintain high visitor standards
• Coordinate with government authorities including RAK Municipality, Civil Defense, and the Department of Antiquities & Museums
• Support cultural events and festivals by managing site infrastructure, utilities, and temporary installations
• Monitor security and surveillance systems to ensure site safety and operational readiness
• Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and support cost-control initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in facility management, infrastructure operations, or site engineering
• Proven experience managing heritage sites, large campuses, or public tourism destinations
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure systems
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, and contractor oversight
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills
