About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team by setting goals, priorities, and expectations to deliver technical support for facilities and infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes and procedures that support operational and business objectives.
- Secure and allocate engineering resources, manage supplier technical performance, and drive process improvements.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.
- Review and approve technical approaches, designs, products, and engineering processes to ensure quality and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to strengthen technical capability and support career growth.
- Support broader GREF initiatives, including reliability, asset management, capital planning, and digital platform adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (or greater) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or another technical degree.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale cross-functional project management).
- Experience with Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems (CMMS).
- Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Facilities/Infrastructure Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role.
- Experience developing strategic long-range business plans or multi-year capital planning.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders.
- Experience in administering change management and strategic decision-making.
