About the role
Responsibilities
- Deploy Basic, Front End, and Detail Process Engineering expertise across projects and operations
- Support concept selection, Pre-FEED, and preliminary cost estimation for facilities planning
- Develop Heat & Material Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, and Design Basis documentation
- Lead integrated project teams for early development and provide engineering surveillance during FEED and Detailed Design
- Conduct technical reviews including P&ID reviews, HAZOP, and 3D Model reviews
- Provide technical leadership for complex challenges from concept through commissioning and startup
- Mentor and provide oversight to less experienced engineers to ensure technical quality and capital efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) or higher in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Process Design, Operations, or Technical Services within the Oil and Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical sectors
- Proficiency in AspenTech Engineering Suite (HYSYS, Aspen Basic Engineering, etc.)
- Experience with AVEVA or Hexagon Engineering Suite
- Authorization to work in India
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in planning and executing brownfield modifications and upgrades
- Familiarity with facility monitoring systems such as PI Vision, XHQ, or SEEQ
- Proven experience in Upstream, Downstream, or Low Carbon Solutions domains
