Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including troubleshooting and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry requests
• Conduct facility repairs such as painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling tiles, and assembling furniture or equipment
• Coordinate multi-trade projects with external vendors and communicate timelines to production management
• Perform inspections of interior and exterior areas, including flooring, lighting, and roofing systems
• Support janitorial and hospitality staff with moving furniture, equipment, and event set-up/tear-down
• Manage campus-wide maintenance programs, inventory, and equipment operations
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts as required
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 4+ years of professional experience in commercial equipment wiring, maintenance, and repair
• U.S. Person status (ITAR compliance)
• Ability to lift up to 45lbs unassisted
• Ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction, project management, or tenant improvements
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, concrete, framing, and industrial gas trades
• Familiarity with industrial air fittings and reading blueprints or instructions
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) or project tracking software
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, or fall protection equipment
