Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the organization and maintenance of station sites, including housekeeping, yard organization, and material storage
• Assist various trades with overhaul, outage, maintenance, and project work
• Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, handling materials, and shipping/receiving
• Conduct seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow removal and grass cutting
• Operate, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on natural gas compression and auxiliary equipment
• Participate in hazard assessments, permitting activities, and safety compliance requirements
• Operate mobile equipment such as skid steers, loaders, forklifts, and picker trucks
• Support emergency response and participate in an on-call rotation as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in industrial, mechanical, facilities, maintenance, or labor-intensive field work
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a driver’s abstract
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in adverse weather and varying temperature conditions
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certification or technical maintenance training
• Experience with natural gas compression or pipeline facilities
• Proficiency with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems
• Experience operating mobile equipment like loaders or forklifts
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
