Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct proper use, maintenance, tests, and repairs of mechanical equipment, systems, and components
• Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions
• Restore equipment to operational status including dry cleaning equipment, boilers, chillers, generators, air compressors, steam tunnels, and conveyance systems
• Maintain safety guidelines, cleanliness, and security standards
• Identify and surface issues to leadership in a timely fashion
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and pushing/pulling bins

Requirements

• 1 year of trade experience in plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical controls
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
• Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheet software and Google Docs
• Ability to operate warehouse tools and scanners
• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely while using machinery
• Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a dry cleaning operation
