Facilities Technician, Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on building equipment, fixtures, and systems
• Respond to service calls and work orders throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Install office fixtures and perform various maintenance trade tasks
• Test electronic components and circuits to diagnose malfunctions and locate defects
• Replace defective components, wiring, and adjust mechanical parts
• Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment and testing instruments according to specifications
• Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests
• Oversee emergency system backups and ensure all facility systems remain functional

Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Electrician
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems
• Proficiency in electronic component testing
