Facilities Technician IV

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance including building systems, electrical projects, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
• Conduct routine repairs and preventative maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility-related equipment and systems
• Maintain and service specialized equipment such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerant compressors
• Perform inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prevent system failures
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, and wiring diagrams to complete technical tasks
• Coordinate with outside contractors to support facility and equipment repairs
• Support the development and improvement of methods and controls related to facility utilities and infrastructure

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building systems, or related technical trades
• High School Diploma or GED
• Verifiable experience in electrical troubleshooting and equipment diagnosis
• Proven experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Refrigeration certification
