Facilities Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, utility, and building systems in GMP and non-GMP areas
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and environmental controls
• Execute work order requests from employees and internal customers
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with specialized contractors and vendors for complex repairs
• Support calibration activities and equipment reliability programs
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in facility maintenance or mechanical/electrical building systems
• High school diploma required; technical trade school certification preferred
• Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency reading schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs
• Experience in regulated environments (cGMP biotech, pharma, or lab) preferred
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems and CMMS
