Facilities Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on compressors, chillers, towers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
• Repair and replace defective equipment, fixtures, and systems as required
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, including occasional after-hours calls
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repair services
• Support sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within the facility

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of compressed air systems, chiller/boiler operations, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training in facilities management or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as HVAC certification or an electrical license
