Facilities Technician II

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside service providers for routine CM and PM Program tasks
• Support verification and maintenance with PIDs, HVAC, electrical, one-lines, and process flow diagrams (PFDs)
• Ensure all Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Program tasks are completed and documented properly
• Perform, schedule, coordinate, and oversee emergency troubleshooting and repair on HVAC, mechanical, utility systems, and lab/manufacturing equipment
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and facility utilities to identify issues like wear or leaks
• Maintain documented records of inspections and repairs following approved SOPs and Work Instructions
• Respond to alarms and emergencies such as equipment failures or power outages
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and R&D departments
• Troubleshoot systems to quickly identify and resolve issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 2-6 years of Project/Facilities Engineering experience or experience as a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Subcontractor
• Experience with process equipment and CAPEX
• GMP cleanroom experience
• Demonstrated understanding of facility systems, utilities, and equipment
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
