Facilities Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance for interior and exterior facility concerns, including carpentry, painting, and wall repairs.
• Address plumbing and electrical issues of varying difficulty.
• Support critical HVAC components through filter changes and grease applications.
• Utilize CMMS to open, plan, and document all assigned work requests and material requirements.
• Manage spare parts organization, tracking, and replenishment.
• Respond to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removals and spill cleanups.
• Maintain fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Oversee and advise outside service providers performing facility maintenance.
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve challenging maintenance and breakdown issues.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 2-6 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Proven troubleshooting skills regarding facility infrastructure equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
• Proficiency in the safe use of power and hand tools.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment with a professional attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an FDA-regulated industry or ISO-certified organization.
• Possession of an Electrical License.
• HVAC certification.
• Class III or Universal Refrigeration Certificate.
