Facilities Technician II (GMP)

Responsibilities

• Perform and document all corrective and preventative maintenance on GMP facility equipment and systems
• Ensure GMP compliance for all facilities-related activities
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues on building systems and equipment
• Maintain facility equipment at optimum performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Execute continuous improvement projects to improve departmental performance
• Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Participate in an On-Call rotation for off-hour facility emergencies
• Perform weekend walkthrough duties according to schedule

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in a GMP or regulated environment
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and CMMS software preferred
• Licensure in Wastewater Treatment, Refrigeration, Electrician, or Plumbing preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in controlled environments requiring GxP gowning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a GMP Biotech or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Technical licensure in specialized trades
