Facilities Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform or oversee vendor maintenance and calibrations on GMP Utility systems, process equipment, and clean room infrastructure
• Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance assignments and documentation
• Comply with GMP requirements for detailed electronic and written documentation
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, autoclaves, centrifuges, reactors, WFI systems, and HVAC equipment
• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs using various hand and power tools
• Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts to plan repair activities
• Coordinate and escort contractors and vendors for system repairs
• Support quality systems including CAPA, Deviations, and Change Management
• Participate in on-call rotations, shift coverage, and annual shutdowns

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, P&IDs, and work instructions
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school or undergraduate education
• Professional licensure in Wastewater Treatment, Plumbing, Electrical, or Refrigeration
• 1+ years of experience in a GMP environment
• Experience with Blue Mountain RAM or other CMMS programs
• Experience with DeltaV PCS System or other control systems
