Facilities Technician I - Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems and ensure a safe physical environment at the Main Campus
• Work independently under general supervision on various work assignments and emergency requests
• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, hanging and finishing drywall, and ceiling work
• Install and maintain door hardware
• Comply with safety management programs to provide a hazard-free environment according to established codes and policies
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and various hospital departments
• Share knowledge and expertise to help develop the skillsets of teammates

Requirements

• Working knowledge across all building systems
• Experience with framing and hanging/finishing drywall
• Proficiency in door hardware installation and ceiling work
• Ability to interpret information, ideas, and instructions to complete tasks
• Commitment to hospital values and safety protocols
