About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform janitorial and sanitation tasks, including cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and offices
  • Use industrial equipment such as ride-on scrubbers, floor buffers, and vacuums to maintain floors
  • Sanitize production surfaces and machinery to maintain a safe, non-slippery environment
  • Manage waste disposal, including trash, recycling, and specialized chemical waste, in compliance with environmental regulations
  • Provide general labor support, such as moving heavy equipment, supplies, or furniture
  • Execute basic grounds upkeep, including landscaping and lawn grooming
  • Perform basic facility repairs, such as drywall repair, painting, and reporting structural defects
  • Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and inventory in common areas

Requirements

  • Knowledge of chemical cleaning products, safety practices, and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • Experience operating or the ability to learn floor buffers, scrubbers, and other powered cleaning equipment
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and understand chemical labels and follow written and verbal safety instructions
  • Ability to work in a high-production, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial roles
